On Wednesday 13th August, Pre-School had their Graduation Leaving Party. The party was arranged for all the children that will be leaving us to begin school in September 2009. The Party began at 2 o’clock with a trip to the local park. Later on we returned to the nursery where each Key Person then presented their own key children with their Learning Journal/Scrapbook together with a special leavers certificate. The children then had party food and we went back outside to enjoy the rest of the party. A special thank you to all the parents that came along, your support is much appreciated. We all had a great, although emotional day, and we wish all the children the very best for when they start school in September 2009. We will miss you all.
On Thursday 6th August, Pre-School had their annual Sports day at the Park off Logan Street. The races included sack race, potato and spoon race, dressing up race and wheelbarrow race. There was also a parent/carer and child 3 legged race. Afterwards the children had a well deserved drink and biscuit and were each presented with a winners medal and a sports day certificate. A BIG well done to all the children for participating and a BIG Thank You to all the parents, grandparents and siblings for coming along and supporting us. A great time had by all.
