Have you brushed your teeth this morning??? The preschool children thoroughly enjoyed a visit from our local dentist. They discussed the importance of healthy teeth and gums with the children. They also saw a programme about going to the dentists and were shown how to brush teeth properly using a giant model and toothbrushes. Each child got a magic toothbrush with toothpaste built in so they could practice their brushing skills later that day

On Wednesday 13th August, Pre-School had their Graduation Leaving Party. The party was arranged for all the children that will be leaving us to begin school in September 2009. The Party began at 2 o’clock with a trip to the local park. Later on we returned to the nursery where each Key Person then presented their own key children with their Learning Journal/Scrapbook together with a special leavers certificate. The children then had party food and we went back outside to enjoy the rest of the party. A special thank you to all the parents that came along, your support is much appreciated. We all had a great, although emotional day, and we wish all the children the very best for when they start school in September 2009. We will miss you all.
