Care at "Little Angels" is provided by experienced and qualified staff. At all times the OFSTED ratio of adults to children are well maintained. We recruit staff, not only on the basis of their qualifications, professionalism and experience, but also for their personal qualities. We look for enthusiasm, dedication, team working, maturity and a genuine love of children.
In addition to the Proprietor we have two Deputy Managers, an Office Administrator, together with full time and part time staff, including a part time cook. Each room has a senior member of staff who is permanent to that room and they are responsible for ensuring that planning is completed, good team work exists and the room runs smoothly and efficiently and the needs of the children are adhered to always. Our full time staff are usually allocated to one particular room to ensure familiarity and consistency for the children and parents. Part time staff where possible are allocated to a room although they may be 'floated' where the needs arise The nursery is committed to the ongoing training and development of staff and we are exceptionally proud to have achieved our "Investors in People" Award in 2001, reaccredited in November 2004 and September 2007. The "Quality Counts " award also professionalism and enthusiasm of our staff.
We are committed to the development of our staff. The Proprietor has achieved the Early Years Professional Status (required by all nurseries by 2015). Three of the staff are currently studying for a Foundation Degree in Early Years & Childcare. All staff receive regular training to enhance their professional development.
